M&M Math

Due to the snow days before winter break, we had to reschedule our M&M math, but it was well worth the wait.  Before we could eat our tasty treats, we had to make predictions and graph our results.  We used a line plot and bar graph to show our class data as well as our individual data.  Some of our predictions turned out to be quite accurate, but other results came as quite a surprise!

We counted, sorted and compared our M&Ms.

We used a bar graph to show the color distribution results.

We used a line plot graph to show our class "scoop" distribution.

We made predictions and collected our data in an organized manner.

Habitats and Food Chains

We have been studying habitats and the different food chains for each.  After researching the animals we combined the habitat features and food chain in art.  Stop by our 3rd grade hall to see our display.
